We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical PFMEA Moderator to join our team in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
As a PFMEA Moderator, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential failure modes in our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and reliability.
- Lead and facilitate Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) sessions with cross-functional teams
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify potential failure modes and their effects on product quality
- Develop and implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Conduct statistical analysis to prioritize and address high-risk areas
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to implement preventive actions
- Maintain and update PFMEA documentation and databases
- Train team members on PFMEA methodologies and best practices
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations relevant to PFMEA and quality management
**Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Industrial, or related field
- Intermediate English
- Experience:
- Leading PFMEA sessions and workshops
- In manufacturing process and quality management systems
- PFMEA software tools (desirable)
- Project management




- Problem solving
- Knowledge:
- Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) methodologies
- Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Six Sigma certification -Green Belt or higher (desirable)
- Automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF *****) is a plus
