Job DescriptionAt TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Main ObjectiveAttend and solve any quality issue coming from supplier after SOP.Responsibilities and authorityProduct Quality Validation at Supplier plantCorrective action validation ensuring effectiveness.Audit process of CS1 and CS2 to ensure that product is 100% certified according to standards, Work instructions and/or Methods authorized.Audit supplier processes (VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5)Optimize supplier performance (Score card)Attend Quality meetings between Organization and SupplierSupport to SQE with analysis and improvement of Supplier processAuthority to propose the necessary training to improve the environmental management program.Carries out actions to reduce environmental impact, as well as activities for compliance with the ISO***** standard.Authority to stop a process in which there is the possibility of harming the environment or/and that is outside environmental legal compliance.RequirementEngineering degree10 years of experience desiredAutomotive experience of 5 years minimumExperience working with suppliers and/or customersExperience as Resident Quality Engineer in Tier 1 companies – DesirableProcess or SGQ experience – DesirableSpecific qualification, knowledge and skillsKnowledge of value stream processProblem solving toolsPFMEA and control planApplication of Six sigma, DOEShining tools – DesirableEnglish written and spokenStrong Negotiation skillsHigh negotiation certification - DesiredKnowledge of VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5LOCATION: Hermosillo, Sonora, MX.
