You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to support business objectives and customer commitments.This position is idóneo for a planning professional who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and enjoys solving complex supply chain challenges through data-driven decision-making.Senior Planner – Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesesDevelop, update, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand, capacity, and material availability.Perform continuous analysis of forecast vs. capacity to ensure production goals are met.Adjust production plans in response to changes in demand, material constraints, or operational disruptions.Release and track internal production or work orders according to MRP requirements.Monitor production order status, lead times, and supply constraints.Maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding shortages and excess stock.Identify and communicate plan deviations caused by material issues, quality problems, or equipment downtime.Coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments to minimize production impact.Manage delivery commitments, schedule changes,



and confirmations with internal and external suppliers.Ensure continuity of supply for critical and constrained materials.Lead supplier performance evaluations and recommend actions for continuous improvement.Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, logistics, and quality to ensure material availability and production capacity.Participate in and facilitate production, supply chain, and plan adherence meetings.Develop OTD / Plan Adherence analysis and communicate results to stakeholders.Support audit activities, compliance requirements, and internal controls.Contribute to business continuity planning and escalation management for constrained materials.Provide guidance and functional support to junior planners and buyerSkills and CompetenciesesAdvanced analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw accurate conclusions.Proficiency with computer tools and ERP/MRP systems; strong command of Windows‐based operating systems.Excellent written communication skills for clear and professional correspondence.Strong understanding of inventory management processes and supply chain operations.Ability to interpret instructions, technical correspondence, and operational reports.Mathematical proficiency for calculations involving rates, ratios, percentages, and statistical analysis.Intermediate‐to‐advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, reporting).
