Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and manage maintenance practices and procedures (preventive, predictive, and repair).

- Monitor, react to, and report key maintenance metrics and indicators.

- Develop and manage continuous improvement projects in regards to equipment, processes, and facility.

- Management and coordination of equipment installations (new and refurbishment).

- Management and supervision of Maintenance/Automation team personnel.

- Coordination and communication of maintenance activites with Plant Manager and site senior staff.

- Training and evaluation of maintenance personnel to meet current and future needs.

- Demonstration and assurance of safe work practices by maintenance personnel and contractors.

- Travel periodically between sites for training and assistance.

- Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and requirements.

- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- Engineering degree,

- Minimum of 5 years experience working in industrial maintenance or engineering.

- Technical experience in mechanical systems, electrical systems, fluid power (pneumatic and hydraulic), and industrial controls.
