Job Title: Accounting & Tax Specialist

Location: Mexico City, Mexico (Onsite)

Job Responsibilities

- Handle full-cycle accounting for Mexico entity

- Prepare and review statutory accounting records in compliance with Mexican GAAP (NIF)

- Manage local tax compliance, including VAT (IVA), ISR, and other tax filings

- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders

- Support month-end and year-end closing processes

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in accounting and tax reporting

Requirements

- 5+ years of accounting experience

- 3+ years of hands-on tax experience in Mexico

- Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax regulations

- Working proficiency in Spanish and English

- Experience in Chinese companies, Financial Services, or FinTech is a strong plus

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with multinational or fast-growing companies

- Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset

- Able to work onsite in Mexico City
