The Graduate Trainee: Financial Administrator: Payables, Receivables and Payroll is designed to give young and fresh finance and accountant graduates access to practical where they can learn from experts and adapt their theoretical knowledge in a work environmental set up.
The trainee will be exposed to ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial transactions by processing creditor, receivables, payroll, and sundry payment transactions, both manually and on the EWSC financial system.
Responsible for reconciling creditor's ledger to supplier, debtor's ledger to customer accounts, payroll reconciliations, one-time payment's statements, and update transactions to the general ledger.
and control reports and fostering an enabling delivery environment for EWSC to become a high-performing organization whereby business practices and decisions are aligned with the EWSC vision, mission, and values.
The trainee will also compute, classifies, records,



and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records.
In addition, this role is responsible for reconciling and update of payroll, payables, and receivables transactions to the general ledger with daily transactions from the bank to ensure optimal consolidation of accounts payable, receivable and payroll reconciliations for the Corporation to facilitate financial reporting.

- Financial reporting concepts, e.g., cash vs. accrual basis; fixed assets: Be able to record, track and report on assets and accruals on agreed timelines
