Littelfuse Procurement and Category Management department is looking for a Strategic Buyer who will be responsible for purchasing key materials, parts, and equipment in order to optimize pricing, delivery terms, securing business with signing agreements and implementing dual sources.
In this role you will be mainly responsible for automotive sensor business in North America.
Job location - Piedras Negras, Littelfuse production location.
About the Job:
- Have strong knowledge of purchased products cost structure and production process, be
able to negotiate on cost breakdown data and initiate cost optimization projects
- Increase collaboration with Littelfuse strategic suppliers by business expansion
- Work as a team member to support on supply chain related topics to ensure stable supply




- Analyze various performance indicators, prepare reports to management and develop a
strategy for new projects implementation
- Execute products and services purchasing according to procedures and instructions.
About you:
- 2-5 years of experience in Procurement or/and Engineering/Supply chain/data analyst field
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, etc. or Engineering field (preferred)
- Understanding drawings and knowledge in custom-made components would be a huge plus
- Understanding Electronic components and its market with supply would be a huge plus
- Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge in Excel
- Have strategic thinking and good time planning skills.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience with SAP would be a plus
- Proactive team-player with high attention to details
- Willingness to learn and to grow in dynamic environment.
