**What does a great Commercial Financial Analyst do?
**
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized financial analyst with keen attention to detail to join our team.
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for issuing commercial sales targets, as well as presente results across the Travelport Sales Organization, including data mining, reporting and insights, organization, and analysis of performance targets against the actual sales performance.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Support the assignment of performance sales targets directly tied to variable commercial compensation.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders, such as commercial leadership, human resources and finance to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of Sales Compensation modeling, bonus schemes, portfolio management and annual sales targeting.




- Support monthly calculations and data trending of actual sales performance against established targets.
- Ensure accuracy of customer cost centre allocation(s) needed to monitor customer activity in financial repositories, such as volume and profitability, to ensure sales targets are tracked and reported accurately.
- Ensure accuracy of monthly financial reporting and correlate to commercial bonus plans, develop insights and make recommendations for process automation and ease-of-use.
- Track, trend, report, and ensure accuracy of performance data in support of special commercial incentive initiatives.Support customer portfolio management across a broad range of sales/commercial team members, such as business development, account management, emerging business, and travel partnerships.
**Who we are looking for in this role**:
- A self-starter who can collate and consolidate information, ensuring data is organized and accurate.
- Curious and analytical with strong business and financial acumen.
- Familiarity with GTM, sales, and commercial variable compensation plans designed to align individual and organizational interests.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to tailor approach to different people and levels within the organisation.
- Effective written and verbal communication within all levels of the organization.




- Attention to detail and accuracy within a high standard of presentation.
- Team player in proactively developing cross functional support.
- Advanced Excel, Cognos and PowerPoint skills required.
- Extensive experience of financial analysis and high-level of business financial acumen.
- A pragmatic approach towards solutions with proven experience in delivering solutions in a fast-paced, deadline-focused accounting environment.
- Previous experience working with sales variable compensation plans with a high level of complexity is a plus.Previous experience working in travel tech, or technology company a benefit.
