**Automation Engineer**
**Grupo Polesa**, a Mexican company with over 60 years in the market, is the leading supplier of poles and hardware for power transmission and distribution, lighting, telecommunications, signaling, and public lighting.
To continue driving transformation, we are looking to add an **Automation Engineer** to our team.
This position is based at our **Guadalajara plant (15 minutes from the airport).
**
**Role Purpose**:
Develop, program, and optimize automated equipment in our manufacturing plant.
This role will be responsible for designing and improving automation systems, implementing artificial intelligence in production processes, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in **Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Robotics, or a related field.

- Proven experience in **programming and operating automated manufacturing equipment.
**
- Strong knowledge of **programming languages for automation** (e.g., PLC, Python, C++, Ladder, etc.).
- Experience with **artificial intelligence applied to manufacturing.
**
- Ability to design, assemble, and troubleshoot **mechanical and electrical systems.
**
- Proficiency in **technical and conversational English.
**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Program and operate** automated manufacturing equipment.
- **Develop and optimize** automation systems to enhance efficiency.
- **Diagnose and resolve** issues in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
