Purpose of Role:
Provide strategic leadership for the end-to-end materials and inventory agenda within the Tequila category, with a focus on long-term value creation, supply resilience, and business continuity.
This role is accountable for shaping and performing sourcing strategies jointly with Procurement, optimizing inventory performance (including SLOBs) and enabling agility across the supply network.
It requires a highly influential leader with proven expertise in change management, capable of navigating resistance, driving cross-functional alignment, and embedding transformational ways of working.
A forward-thinking attitude is essential to anticipate risk, unlock capacity, and accelerate innovation readiness.
The role also owns the execution and governance of the nine core pillars of Materials Supply Management (MSM), ensuring strategic integration and operational excellence across the value chain.

Direct Reports:
- While this role does not have direct reports, it requires strong leadership and influencing capabilities to effectively drive outcomes through cross-functional teams,
suppliers, and senior partners.
Top Accountabilities:
- Lead the end-to-end materials strategy for the Tequila category, ensuring alignment with procurement, supply, and commercial priorities.
- Own and lead the MSM Agenda, ensuring robust governance, continuous improvement, and integration with global supply strategy.
- Design and implement inventory optimization strategies, including proactive SLOBs prevention, write-off mitigation, and coverage strategies.
- Inspire change management and influence across cross-functional teams to embed long-term supply resilience, innovation support, and service excellence.
- Act as the primary strategic collaborate with procurement for capacity alignment, vendor development, and long-range category planning.
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks and dashboards for visibility and decision-making across supply leadership.
- Lead scenario and contingency planning for materials categories, ensuring resilience against macro and supplier-level disruptions.
- Represent materials planning in innovation governance, ensuring timely material readiness, vendor alignment, and scalability.
- Champion the integration of sustainability and risk management in all material sourcing and inventory strategies.
- Navigate and manage sophisticated partner conversations, escalating strategically where needed and influencing outcomes across the matrix.
Skills and Capabilities
- Baseline understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes; Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning, Inventory Planning, Conversion, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service
- Proven ability to lead change in challenging environments, effectively manage resistance, and drive adoption of new strategies across cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and/or forecasting methodologies with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
- Good communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.

Experience
- +5 years Supply Network Planning (Materials, Production and Distribution) experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry preferred
- Experience with sophisticated planning software with Supply Planning (SAP APO, OMP preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading sophisticated change initiatives, overcoming resistance, and embedding future-focused strategies that elevate supply resilience and performance.
- English and Spanish sophisticated skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in appropriate supply chain, mathematical, engineering, or business degree.
- APICS CPIM / CSCP or equivalent desirable.
