**What's the role?
**
We are looking for a Policy Enforcement Manager to join the Content Compliance team within our broader Trust & Safety organization responsible for leading and coordinating team-wide projects related to content moderation.
This individual will be collaborating with a global cross-functional team consisting of Policy, Legal, Product, Analytics, among others.
This role requires the pairing of both tactical organization skills with a high level of critical thinking.
You can guide complex conversations, navigate ambiguity, and synthesize problems to drive sustainable and long-term solutions!
**This is a full-time position reporting to the Team Lead, Marketplace Safety - Content Compliance.

- We are a multi-disciplinary team that plays a vital role in mitigating legal, regulatory, and content policy-related risks facing Etsy's marketplace.
**What does the day-to-day look like?
**
- Find and develop opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the team, including but not limited to opportunities to expand enforcement coverage, refine detective capability, and improve process efficiency
- In partnership with the policy and the legal team, provide vision and thought-leadership to craft the strategy of refining and executing on regulatory response and compliance




- Act as a trusted point of contact for escalations and high-priority issues related to content moderation
- Proactively manage key project risks and blockers and escalate in a timely manner to plan mitigation and minimize impact to the business
- Oversee work with Product and Engineering partners to build and optimize automated detective controls that support robust enforcement
- Support Content Compliance's engagement with outsourcing partners and Etsy's Enablement teams, helping to ensure that workflows are operating efficiently and effectively
- Build a deep understanding of Etsy's products and policies, and develop and implement strategies to scale

**Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are**:
- 3+ years of progressive experience in project management with experience in planning, organizing, and executing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals (project management certifications are strongly preferred).
- 3+ years of proven experience in a Trust & Safety role with demonstrated ability working in content moderation or policy enforcement.
- Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.

- Experience within a fast-paced tech environment or management consulting.
