This position requires a basic understanding of turbochargers & vehicle systems combined with creativity and drive to develop new products based on customer needs.
Responsibility spans from concept development of complex projects, support through test/validation and launch.
Design Engineer brings critical design & development competencies to our Lead Engineer's team, developing cutting edge turbocharger boosting technologies.
- Interface closely with Customers to understand detailed Turbocharger design requirements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust designs.
- Use internal standards & industry experience to develop complex systems, that meets customer specific requirements & packaging space.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
- English (Advanced)
- +3 years' work experience designing mechanical and aerodynamic devices/components/systems.
- Strong CAD skills.
Minimum 2 years' experience with CATIA V5, Onshape or equivalent CAD software.
(Solid modeling, surfacing and drafting).
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing standard and 2D/3D Tolerance Stack up analysis.
- Experience with Enovia PLM / SmarTeam / Team Center PDM Systems.
- Experience in manufacturing Metal Castings, Machining, Sheet metal forming, Plastic injection molded parts & part assembly processes.
