Optimize cost calculation activities, based on analyzing all manufacturing variables in the plant, proposing process improvements and contributing to the analysis of results.
The main activities of the position are:
- Maintenance of the Costing system.
Standard cost update (based on the requirements of the opera- tions and/or Purchasing team), review of variations and impacts in inventory and Annual/Monthly inventory revaluation.
- Part Number Activation.
Standard cost calculation and activation of new part numbers (check that all configurations are ready for production).
- Cost Analysis.
Support internal customers with information about cost variations, inventories or historical data.
- Key Indicators Report.




Daily report of plant financial indicators.
- Inventory reconciliations.
GL inventory balance must be supported by a detailed report by part number and location of the inventory module.
- Scrap Recovery.
Reconcile the balance that should be billed to the supplier based on manifests.
- Month closing records.
Journal entries in Oracle (accruals or reserves)- Audits.
Random checks of Quarantine, WIP, Receiving and Shipping.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree- 3+ years of experience in cost accounting roles.
- Manufacturing industry experience or related.
