Automotive Company is hiring:
Supply Chain Manager Jr.
**Job Objective**:
The Junior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and control of all activities related to the supply chain, ensuring the optimization of logistics processes and efficient inventory management at our automotive parts manufacturing plant.
Their main objective will be to support the management of purchasing, warehousing, distribution, and inventory control processes, ensuring a continuous flow of materials and products in an efficient manner, aligned with production needs.
**Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**: Assist in supervising and controlling the inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Warehouse Logistics: Coordinate the receipt and dispatch of materials, overseeing the correct storage and handling of products, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
**Purchasing Planning**: Assist in planning and controlling the procurement of materials and components for the production of parts, working closely with suppliers.
**Coordination with Production**:Collaborate with the production area to ensure the availability of materials according to the production schedule requirements.
Transport and Distribution: Coordinate the transportation logistics of materials required for production, as well as the distribution of finished products to customers.
Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to optimize supply chain processes,
proposing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
KPI Monitoring: Collaborate in measuring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the supply chain, such as delivery times, inventory turnover, and supplier compliance.
**Compliance with Regulations**: Ensure that all supply chain-related activities are carried out in compliance with internal and external regulations, including industrial safety and environmental standards.
**Requirements**:
Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
Minimum Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse-related positions, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
Knowledge:
- Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software.
- Basic knowledge of inventory planning and control, transportation, and distribution.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, especially in metal and plastic parts industries.
**Skills**:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Languages: Fully bilingual.
