**Job Description**:
The Centralized Facilities Manager oversees the operation, maintenance, and development of all facilities across the manufacturing campus.
This includes ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports manufacturing operations while adhering to regulatory, safety, and cost-efficiency standards.
This role coordinates between multiple departments and ensures consistency in facilities management across the campus.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Facilities Operations Management
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Monitor HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, refrigerant, Gases, and other critical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure the availability and reliability of utilities such as water, gas, electricity, and compressed air for manufacturing operations.
Team Leadership
- Collaborate with department heads to address facility needs specific to their operations.
- Support area responsible with standardized programs and methods to properly unify execution plans across the campus.
- Review and get consensus of work priorities, evaluate performance, support for systems to monitor and track metrics, provide training and guidance to team members.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all facilities comply with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe work environment, identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
- Coordinate and conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure facility compliance.
Budget and Resource Management
- Develop, manage, systems to monitor and track the facilities budget, including operational costs, capital expenses, and contracts.
- Collaborate with purchasing on optimize contracts with external vendors for services
- Identify and support to implement cost-saving initiatives for facility operations.
Project Management
- Oversee facility improvement and expansion projects, including planning, budgeting, and project tracking.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors for construction and renovation activities.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Energy Management and Sustainability
- Develop and implement energy-saving programs to reduce operational costs and environmental impact y collaboration with the EHS department.
- Monitor and report on energy usage and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Promote sustainable practices across the campus, including recycling and waste management initiatives.
Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for natural disasters, fires, equipment failures, or other crises, coordinate disaster recovery sessions with Corporate as needed.
- Ensure all facility systems are prepared for emergencies, including backup power and communication systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, gas systems).
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (SAP or similar).
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control.
- Solid understanding of safety and compliance standards.
- Certifications (preferred):
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM)
- OSHA certification
- LEED accreditation or equivalent in sustainability practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Fluent English.
