**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**
- ** R&D; Product Developer** is responsible for supporting innovation, productivity, brand stewardship and portfolio transformation projects working along with the multifunctional teams across PMF and CAR, to develop and implement key projects according to the strategic plans to ensure the business's growth, by executing projects through prototyping, lab trials, pilot plant trials, as well as delivering the required documentation and execution of each project.
- The person will report to the R&D; Manager for Innovations Productivity & Brand Stewardship projects for PMF and CAR Regions.
**Your Impact**
As Analista Regional de Inv&Des; your responsibilities would consist of:
- Execute short and medium-term innovation, productivity,



portfolio transformation and brand stewardship projects for Pellet (flour and pork pellet) category, guaranteeing flawless execution, and deployment across PMF and CAR Regions.
- Support to ensure the flawless and consistent execution of the activities related to innovation, brand stewardship, productivity, and portfolio transformation projects.
- Understand business objectives and needs to be able to propose new products and solutions to execute short and medium-term projects.
- Understands the **Frying and Pellet Extrusion** technologies and capabilities to design and produce and formulate new products, product updates focusing on PMF and CAR consumers, delivering innovation, brand stewardship and productivity projects according to business plan.
- Connects, and works with the R&D; cross-functional Technical Teams (Plant Executives, Operational Excellence, Seasonings, Regulatory, Sensory, Analytical, Food Safety, QD, Nutrition Science, Packaging), the overall Business Teams (Excite, Marketing, Finance, Commercialization, Procurement) as well as the Operations Teams (Plant Management, Plant Operations, Planning, Engineering) from PMF and CAR to deliver projects.
- Understands and gathers consumer insights future trends, being able to translate them into a product design in collaboration with extended R&D; team.
- Generates prototypes, formulas and supports operational excellence team, sharing required information on raw materials, semi-finished and finished product specifications,



job aids to ensure operations team has all required information to comply with the developed design.
- Elaborates zero mass balances to deliver raw materials usage factors and costs developing cost effective solutions for the business.
- Executes pilot plant and scaleup trials ensuring all operation data is captured to ensure proper specification design.
- Supports and executes analytical, microbiological, consumer tests, shelf life, studies to gather and generate the required data and information that helps to determine product insights to develop innovation, productivity, and brand stewardship projects in collaboration with R&D; SCPI and Analytical teams.
- Provides analysis and information support Regulatory team with Nutritional Facts elaboration and Nutrition Table elaboration.
Qualifications:

**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree in food engineering, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or related discipline.
**Experience**
- A minimum of 1 years working in product development or project management experience is desired.
- Language: Spanish, and Fluent English
