We are seeking a skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong foundation in Java 11 to join our dynamic team in Guadalajara. The adecuado candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in backend development, focusing on building robust and scalable APIs. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power our applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high performance backend services and APIs using Java 11.
Collaborate with front end developers to integrate user facing elements with server side logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and services.
Work closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our backend systems.
Mandatory Skills:




Strong proficiency in Java 11, with a deep understanding of its core concepts and features.
Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
Knowledge of API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
