Syntax is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HRIS Analyst to maintain, organize, and optimize human resources information within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role supports Syntax’s HR data management, reporting, system maintenance, and process improvement needs while ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and effective end-user support.

The HRIS Analyst works with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Qualtrics, and SharePoint and collaborates with HR, IT, and business stakeholders across international environments. This position also contributes to automation, analytics, and AI-enabled improvements that enhance HR operations, reporting quality, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, maintain, and support HRIS processes aligned with organizational data management and reporting needs.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of organizational and employee data within HR systems.
- Create, maintain, and optimize standard and ad hoc reports, queries, dashboards, and data summaries for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Manage and follow up on HRIS support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with end users.
- Follow established procedures for updating, validating, auditing, and correcting employee records and other HR-related data.
- Support system maintenance, configuration changes, testing activities, and release validation for HRIS platforms and integrations.
- Document processes, workflows, configurations, user guides, and technical or functional manuals.
- Prepare end-user documentation and training materials, and provide user support as needed.




- Support activities related to SAP SuccessFactors, Qualtrics, and SharePoint, including reporting, administration, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives.
- Analyze moderately complex issues and problems, resolving them directly when possible and escalating more complex matters appropriately.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives applied to HR processes.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders on ongoing global and regional projects.
- Support data quality initiatives and recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency and user experience.
- Assist in the development of AI-enabled or automated reporting and workflow solutions where applicable.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Human Resources Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, HR data management, reporting, or a related systems support role.
- Hands-on experience working with HR systems and employee data in a structured business environment.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills, with the ability to build and maintain reports and dashboards.
- Experience supporting system troubleshooting, issue resolution, testing, and data validation activities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global or multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; experience with SharePoint is a plus.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Interest in automation, analytics, and AI-supported tools to improve HR processes and service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Qualtrics,



and/or SharePoint.
- Familiarity with HR data governance, system administration, and reporting best practices.
- Exposure to HR process automation, workflow optimization, or AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Experience supporting global HR processes or international teams.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems, HR service delivery, or end-user support models.
- Experience documenting procedures, training materials, and technical or functional guides.
- An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Human Resources Technology, or a related discipline.
- Certifications in HR systems, data analytics, project support, or technology platforms are an asset.
- Additional training in SAP SuccessFactors, HR analytics, reporting tools, or automation technologies is preferred.
