Overview

Seeking a Cloud Engineering Senior Advisor to provide technical leadership and strategic guidance across enterprise cloud initiatives. This role supports cloud architecture, security, modernization, and optimization efforts while acting as a trusted advisor to engineering and business teams. Healthcare domain experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide senior-level guidance on cloud architecture, engineering standards, and best practices
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives
- Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient cloud designs in partnership with security teams
- Advise on cloud cost optimization, performance, and operational efficiency
- Guide DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Review cloud networking, identity, access, and security configurations
- Serve as an escalation point for complex cloud engineering challenges





Required Experience & Skills

- 10+ years of IT experience with strong cloud engineering focus
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud preferred)
- Experience with cloud-native services, networking, and security
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and automation
- Experience with cloud migrations and application modernization
- Strong communication and stakeholder advisory skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Healthcare domain experience (payer, provider, or health-tech environments preferred)
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP – Professional preferred)
- Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments
