SAP S/4HANA Project System (PS) Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for a SAP S/4HANA Project System (PS) Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP PS solutions within S/4HANA environments. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure project-related processes are efficiently integrated with finance, controlling, and logistics modules, delivering high-quality, scalable, and business-aligned solutions. The role also supports the adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities to improve process efficiency, enhance visibility, and strengthen decision-making across project execution and control activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PS functional solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP PS in S/4HANA environments, including WBS, networks, milestones, confirmations, settlement, and budgeting.
- Lead or support SAP S/4HANA PS implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
- Integrate SAP PS with related modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, and PM.
- Support project cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and settlement processes.
- Participate in workshops, blueprinting, testing activities, deployments, and post-go-live support.
- Prepare functional specifications for developments and enhancements.
- Collaborate with technical teams,



including ABAP and Basis, during development and transport activities.
- Ensure solutions comply with SAP best practices and organizational standards.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives that may include automation, improved reporting, and AI-enabled decision support.
- Support the evaluation of AI-assisted use cases for project tracking, issue analysis, documentation, and process optimization where appropriate.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to streamline project-related processes through intelligent automation and better data utilization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Project System (PS).
- Experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments, including implementation or conversion projects.
- Solid understanding of project structures, cost control, revenue recognition, and settlement.
- Experience integrating PS with FI/CO is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SAP Best Practices and Activate methodology is a plus.
- Ability to interact with business users and translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- English proficiency, written and spoken.
- Understanding of how automation and AI can support project execution, reporting, and operational efficiency.




- Ability to assess where AI-enabled capabilities may add value in project and finance-related processes while maintaining business and governance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

- SAP PS certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects.
- Knowledge of EPPM, CPM, or SAP Portfolio and Project Management.
- Experience in industries such as Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, or Professional Services.
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation tools, analytics, or AI-enabled reporting solutions.
- An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- SAP PS certification is highly desirable.
- Training or certifications in SAP S/4HANA, FI/CO integration, or project management are a plus.
- Exposure to automation, analytics, or AI-related tools is an advantage.
