Our client is a world class Tier 2 automotive manufacturer that is expanding their operations in Mexico and now is hiring a Senior Buyer that will be a key member of the sourcing team. The successful candidate must has:
Requirements
1. 15 years overall experience in purchasing roles with major integral manufacturers.
2. 5 years as a Senior Buyer with a high volume high mix manufacturing operation.
3. Professional degree.
4. Proven experience in sourcing and supplier development.
5. Cost reduction programs by working with interdisciplinary teams.
6. A CPM certification or related certifications are preferred.
7. Working understanding of ISO9001 / IATF16949 / ISO14001 / VDA6.3
8. Knowledge of purchasing, accounting and inventory (ERP) software.
