We are currently seeking ASL Interpreter (VRI)
Qualifications Required Minimum one (1) year of professional American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting experience.
Native or near-native fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
Excellent receptive and expressive ASL interpreting skills.
Strong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret complex conversations across multiple industries and subject matters.
Experience providing Video Remote Interpreting (VRI).
Strong understanding of Deaf culture and demonstrated cultural competency.
Ability to maintain neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality in accordance with RID Code of Professional Ability to remain calm, impartial, and effective during high-pressure, emotional, or sensitive interactions.
Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
Proficiency with computers and the ability to efficiently navigate multiple software applications and video conferencing platforms simultaneously.
Must be VRI ready
Must be available to support prescheduled calls during their working hours
