Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with over 7 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise application development. The idóneo candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, along with proven experience in designing scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Architect and implement scalable microservices‑based solutions following industry best practices.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and external system integrations.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and software solutions.

Create well‑structured, reusable, and maintainable code following clean code principles and coding standards.

Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures for relational databases.

Implement asynchronous and event‑driven architectures using Kafka or other messaging platforms.

Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decision‑making.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems.

Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements are met.

Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software engineering.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including development processes, coding standards, and automation.





Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of professional experience in Java application development.

5+ years of hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices‑based applications.

Extensive experience in RESTful API design, development, documentation, and integration.

Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17 and core Java concepts, including collections, multithreading, exception handling, and concurrency.

Solid understanding of Spring Framework components, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and dependency injection.

Expertise in Spring annotations and framework best practices.

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.

Hands‑on experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies for event‑driven architectures.

Deep understanding of object‑oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture concepts.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.

Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and ensuring code quality through automated testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana, or Prometheus.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Experience with source control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.
