ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior System Development Engineer to join a growing team. If you are customer-focused with creative problem-solving skills and have experience supporting technology teams this role may be for you. As a Senior System Development Engineer, you will

Be a technical lead on the team and act as a subject matter expert for one or more services

Lead Infrastructure support, including extensive troubleshooting tasks, with responsibilities covering multiple products, features and services

Lead coding projects primarily in Java, Python and AWS technologies

Lead software deployment support in staging non-production and production environments

Lead the development of tools to aid operations and maintenance





Lead system and support status reporting

Lead large, cross-functional team projects and resolve complex system issues

Understand the business impact of system development decisions

Lead design, code, and procedure review discussions

Lead discussions related to improving Audible’s infrastructure, operational performance, and stability

Play a significant role in hiring, mentoring, and training employees

Demonstrate excellent judgment when making decisions

Lead pipeline automation and drive it to closure

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of experience managing data pipelines
