Description

Organizes and manages a category (or more than one) assuming the initiative and risk of the business to deliver sales, gross margin, profit and coverage plan

Responsibilities

- Business Development - Identify market needs and develop strategies to fill them, build strategic partnerships, develop market opportunities

- Pre-Line Reviews/Line Reviews - Build attractive assortment to grow business by creating business plan to deliver coverage, sales, gross margin and profit plan.

- Category Management - Category Contribution responsibility, gross margin control, category growth, contract review, vendor management including negotiations and development.

- Planogram - Building the Planogram, Min Review, ZAP Revision, Planogram Maintenance, Secondary Placement Follow up

- Category insight - Store checks, market visit,



competition research, Commercial customers visit.

- Store Support & Team development - Customer Satisfaction, Pricing Deals, Develop ACM capabilities and skills

- Marketing - Create marketing plans, brand development and promotions

- Supply Chain - Fill Rate, Special Orders, Recalls, Return to Vendor, Return to Stock, Order Follow up

Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.

- Business degreee

- Five to seven years

- Merchandising, sales, category management

- Microsoft office, negotiation skills, bilingual (English Minimum 80% /Spanish)

- Analytical skills
