what is your role?

you will play a key role in building a positive and compliant work environment. We are looking for a proactive, energetic professional who enjoys being close to the operation, supporting leaders, strengthening employee relations, and helping maintain a healthy workplace culture across both salaried and union employees.

major responsibilities and tasks of the position:

- ensure compliance with labor relations policies, collective bargaining agreements, employment laws, and safety requirements
- support and coach plant leadership on union matters, employee relations, and management practices that promote a positive work environment
- manage employee grievances, resolve workplace issues fairly and consistently, and maintain a strong presence on the plant floor
- lead and support labor relations initiatives, monitor key hr indicators, and coordinate labor relations team and employee service activities





what are we looking for?

- a proactive, hands-on professional with strong communication, critical thinking, and a visible presence on the plant floor
- bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial/labor relations, law, or related field
- 3+ years of hr labor relations experience as supervisor
- experience leading labor relations actions, coordinating teams, and working with key hr metrics such as absenteeism, discipline, and turnover
- knowledge of labor relations frameworks, employment law, and employee service operations
- basic verbal and written english proficiency
