We are looking for our Project Manager Office, who will be focused on generating, evaluating, prioritizing and executing initiatives to significantly enhance the performance of the supply chain and the commercial processes of Mexico Business.
The position will directly contribute to the supply chain and commercial competitiveness by supporting and/or managing multiple projects aimed at improving productivity and costs, reducing inventories and cycle times, reducing quality fallout and maximizing asset utilization. Will use engineering, financial, Lean, six sigma and general management tools to analyze existing business processes, provide recommendations for improvement and ensure the successful execution of supply chain and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and/or support supply chain and commercial projects over their complete project life cycle: from concept, to initiation, approval, planning, analysis, design, development or readiness for implementation, transition to production (operational use) and full operational capacity.
- Lead, organize and provide follow-up to the New Seasons/Seasonal Events by coordinating the interactions between the stakeholders and by providing the Timeline updates, Season Scorecards and KPI’s to Support On-Time execution and delivery to our customers.
- Serve as a key liaison between Operational and Commercial Teams in Mexico and Corporate (ROH) for the successful implementation of Strategic Projects to drive Mexico Business Growth and Profitability.
- Evaluate and prioritize new initiatives and projects, making recommendations on initiation and focus of projects.
- Monitor commitment, activities and progress of Projects and Kaizen Events, taking appropriate steps to ensure project objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate project key performance indicators with executives and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation that includes business objectives, success criteria, scope, financial analysis, and project plan and implementation strategies, following project management standards for the Supply Chain PMO group.
- Promote and utilize a standardized project management methodology, DMAIC steps and tools to effectively manage projects across the supply chain organization.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement process changes to efficiently meet the business needs, clearly identify problems to be addressed and expected benefits resulting from alternative solutions.
- Direct project feasibility studies, defining the scope of the project, expected benefits and costs resulting from alternative solutions, and analysis in support of recommendations.
- Develop and present supply chain concepts and strategies to Senior Management.
- Lead, manage, and direct key personnel resources, as needed. Work with associated Project Managers to ensure that all requirements are completed in support of the total group effort.
- Assist senior leaders and champions in selecting projects that align with business/functional goals and strategies.
- Update key users and management regarding the status of projects; preparing all materials necessary to meet the requirements of each approval step.
- Perform capital investment justifications with emphasis on ROI.
- Serve as liaison with Project Management Office, Supply Chain Transformation in corporate office.
- Mentor, coach, and develop supply chain staff in a Culture based on Lean-six sigma methodology, Project Management tools and methods.
Requirements:
- BS in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or other technical field
- 5 years+ in operations with at least 2 years leading projects
- English advanced
