Responsibilities

- Support the configuration and maintenance of monitoring tools for cloud environments.
- Collaborate in the creation and optimization of dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in the identification and troubleshooting of critical platform incidents, escalating issues to Senior Engineers or the Product Development team when necessary.
- Perform basic operational tasks across development, testing, and production environments.
- Assist in automating routine tasks using Bash or Python scripts.
- Learn and contribute to internal continuous improvement initiatives focused on monitoring and observability.

Requirements

Experience

- Professional software development experience using Python.
- Experience configuring and supporting monitoring tools for distributed applications, preferably in Kubernetes-based environments.

Technical Skills / Specific Requirements

Python – Advanced

- 2–3 years of professional software development experience using Python.
- Strong understanding of:
- Data structures
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Computational complexity
- Design patterns
- Concurrency

Linux – Intermediate

- Basic Linux commands and file manipulation.
- Basic networking concepts and commands.
- Experience with Shell scripting (Bash).




- Experience automating tasks using Bash and/or Python scripting.

Monitoring – Basic

- Experience monitoring standard services.
- Understanding of:
- Metrics management
- Log management
- Basic alert definition and configuration
- Data visualization tools such as Grafana

Kubernetes Administration – Basic

- Experience deploying standard applications using Kubernetes resources such as:
- Deployments
- Services
- ConfigMaps

Git – Basic

- Familiarity with the standard add, commit, push workflow.
- Basic branch management and conflict resolution.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, or private cloud platforms such as OpenStack.
- Experience with open-source monitoring stacks, including:
- Prometheus
- ELK
- Grafana

Experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban

English

- Intermediate English, primarily for reading and writing technical documentation and searching for technical information in English.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
