We are seeking an exceptional Cheerleading Coachto lead cheerleading sessions for a set number of coaching hours per week. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop athletic ability, confidence, teamwork, and school spirit through engaging training sessions while promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and deliver engaging cheerleading training sessions for students across the assigned age groups. Teach and develop cheerleading fundamentals, including motions, jumps, stunts, tumbling (where appropriate), dance, and performance techniques. Foster teamwork, discipline, leadership, confidence, and school spirit through structured coaching. Create a safe and inclusive training environment, ensuring all activities follow appropriate safety standards and best practices. Choreograph routines and prepare students for school performances, sporting events, competitions,



and other special events as required. Adapt coaching techniques to accommodate students with varying skill levels and experience. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development. Collaborate with school staff and other coaches to support the wider extracurricular and athletics programme. Maintain equipment and ensure all sessions are conducted in accordance with school policies and safeguarding procedures. Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school activities as appropriate. THE ADECUADO CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
A background in Cheerleading, Dance, Gymnastics, Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field. Previous experience coaching cheerleading in a school, club, or competitive environment. Strong knowledge of cheerleading techniques, stunt progression, choreography, and safety practices. Experience preparing teams for performances, sporting events, and/or competitions. A passion for developing young athletes while promoting confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. The ability to motivate and engage students of different ages and abilities. Current first aid and/or cheerleading safety certifications are an advantage.
