With over a half-century of in-house integrated design-build expertise, Haskell has successfully delivered to our clients a wide range of highly specialized and mission-critical aviation, secured and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCIF), headquarters, support and maintenance facilities throughout the U.S. Join the Haskell team in creating these and other high-performing facilities dedicated to the training, operations, protection, housing, education and support of military personnel, retirees and their families.In this role, you will manage the assigned scope(s) of work within the project(s) as directed by the supervisor.Job ResponsibilitiesIdentifies and qualifies subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes of workPrepares and transmits bid packages and invitations to bidReceives and analyzes received bids.
In conjunction with the project manager, may negotiate and award subcontracts and purchase ordersPrepares and maintains purchase control logParticipates in design review meetings and reviews and monitors design with particular attention to scope, cost changes, and constructabilityMay be responsible for applying for, tracking, and expediting project permitsPrepares detailed estimates and cost codes for initial cost control reporting and updates labor cost reports and summary cost reportsWorks with accounting to maintain subcontractor and vendor requirements for payment processingWorks with the project team to prepare and update progress schedules including short-term interval schedulesAssists in planning construction operations and sequencesAs directed by the project manager,



may interact with the client including correspondence, periodic reports, change order requests, submittal of pay requisitions, and response to client inquiries and directivesChecks approve, and transmits submittals; maintains submittal control log; prepares and manages requests for information and maintains RFI logAssists superintendent with subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality management, and job site reporting and controlsAssists in preparation of project close-out requirements including unit cost history, operations and maintenance manuals, punch-list management, and agency inspectionsEducation/ExperienceBachelor's degree in construction managementSpecific Knowledge, Skills, License, CertificationsKnowledge of the construction industry, including methods, engineering, equipment, technology, security, etc.Ability to monitor resources, including budgets, schedules and materials, in an environment of multiple, competing demandsExcellent organizational, communication, collaboration and analytical skillsAbility to understand and execute the company vision and values of Team, Excellence, Service and TrustBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance plansCompany provided hospital indemnity, accident and critical care plansRetirement savings plan (401k)

Environmental Factors and/or Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate light to medium weights of ***** pounds.
