Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Associate Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus._- Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, Associate Production Supervisor role involves_ _being in charge of directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals._What a typical day looks like:- _ Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the lines success._- _ Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality._- _ Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements._- _ Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution.Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability._- _ Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals._- _ Provides technical and operational advice to project teams._- _ May act as principal interface between the operations team and the maintenance function._- _ Engage in training and coaching of junior operators._- _ Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements._- _ Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects._- _ Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses._- _ Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures._- _ Ensures compliance of standards._The experience we're looking to add to our team:- _BA/BS degree._- _Previous experience as Production Supervisor._- _Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment._- _Strong knowledge of production control systems (serials, flows, traceability).
_- _Strong knowledge and experience in SMT & integration fabrication processes_- _Experience in the use of Floor shop systems._- _Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).
_- _Experience in BAAN system is a plus._- _Ability to read, analyze and interpret MPI._- _ Adaptable working hours_- _ Basic/intermediate English is a plus!
