**Summary**:Dirigir la función de FRA dentro de un país muy grande en varias divisiones O Dirigir una línea de servicios o proceso FRA central globalmente o para una región muy notable y responsable de la entrega del servicio de principio a fin en todas las divisiones de Novartis**About the Role**:- Location: Hybrid.CDMX**Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:- Translate global FC&C; strategy into actionable regional initiatives across LACan and NGSC Mexico.
- Serve as the regional ambassador for compliance, risk, and control, ensuring alignment with Novartis Financial Control Manual (NFCM), SOX, and Finance Core and Financial Policies.
- Represent FC&C; in regional leadership forums and cross-functional governance bodies.
- Oversee the execution of all NFCM controls applicable for LACan in multiple processes (e.g. financial reporting, tax, inventory, etc) ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Lead transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, automation, and risk remediation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for FCC and supports business process improvements.
- Proactively identify and mitigate financial and operational risks, including early detection of impairments and accounting standard changes.
- Lead internal and external audit readiness, ensuring timely resolution of findings and robust control environments.
- Own the NFCM control framework across the region, including matrix updates, transitions, and stakeholder communication.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of FCCs professionals across multiple geographies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and talent development.
- Collaborate with Regional FRA, Regional CFO, FRA Heads,
senior leaders into NOCC and in country to align on priorities, share insights, and co-create solutions.
- Support strategic initiatives such as deconsolidation, organizational redesign, and business continuity planning.
**Minimum requirements**:**Work Experience**:- Proven leadership in financial compliance, risk management, and operational finance.
- Strong project management and change leadership capabilities.
- Expertise in financial systems, reporting standards, and control frameworks (e.g. COSO).
- Strong Financial Reporting knowledge and frameworks (e.g. IFRS, NAM).
- People management experience.
