Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager the Sr Process Engineer role will be responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.What a typical day looks like:- Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and products on PCBA.
- Define, Implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
- Have the capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders to identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
- High-level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
- Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
- Support and oversee new process equipment production.
- Support the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).




- Establish robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters- Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
- Trouble shooting process-related issues.
- Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
- Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
- Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.The experience we're looking to add to our team:- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Experience Sr in a similar position.
- Experience as Process Engineer in the electronics, automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of the complete PCBA process.
- Lean Manufacturing Knowledge.
- Experience in SMT and PTH process.
- Knowledge of SPC.
- English advanced.
- Experience in personnel management.
- Availability to travel of 10%.
