- What a typical day looks like:- _ Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation._- _ Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations._- _ Presents materials value-added to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flex preferred suppliers._- _ Interfaces with customers or suppliers in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues._- _ Develops and guides implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans._- _ Manage component cost/price on a local,



regional and general basis._- _ Tracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required._- _ Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies._- _ Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers._- _ Develop and implement cost take down strategies._- _ Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration._- The experience we're looking to add to our team:- _ BA/BS degree._- _ Previous experience in materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain._- _ Advanced English level is required_- _ ERP system knowledge._- _ Experience in manufacturing industry._- _ Strong knowledge and understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends and technologies._- _ Intermediate Excel._- _ Able to execute and recommend pricing/costing strategies._- _ Good communication skills._- What you'll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.
