Senior Application Engineer (Cloud & Containers)A leading enterprise Data Platform Architecture team is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to help design and build modern analytical and cloud-native solutions for enterprise-scale systems.This role is adecuado for engineers with strong experience in AWS, Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices architecture who enjoy working on highly scalable and innovative cloud platforms.Location: Remote (Mexico / Nearshore only)Schedule: Full-timeSalary: $5,600 USD per month (~$98,000 MXN/month)Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with data engineering, product, architecture, and data science teams to support enterprise platform initiatives.
- Work with AWS services, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices-based architectures.
- Recommend cloud technologies and hybrid infrastructure solutions based on technical research and business needs.
- Support automation, scripting, and containerization initiatives across critical enterprise systems.
- Participate in architecture discussions and help improve deployment,



scalability, and platform reliability.
- Work across Linux and Windows server environments.
**Requirements**:- Advanced hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker containers, or AWS Fargate.
- Solid understanding of networking, security groups, infrastructure policies, and multi-OS environments (Linux, UNIX, Windows).
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Advanced / professional English communication skills required.
