**Semester(s)**: 5th - 10th semester**Degree(s)**: Nanotechnology Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Industrial Chemist**Project Objective**: Development of cementing materials with a low CO2 footprint, using digital tools and artificial intelligence for these developments.
**Challenges for the Student**: Development of laboratory analytical techniques, handling of laboratory equipment, review of applicable regulations in the area, generation of technical reports, and data analysis.
**Main Responsibilities and Activities to be Performed**:- Preparation of laboratory samples- Characterization of materials using techniques such as XRF, XRD, TGA, etc.- Preparation of reports- Data analysis using Excel, Origin, Minitab- Literature and patent review- Review and use of AI tools**Skills, Competencies, and/or Knowledge Required**:- Knowledge of chemical analytical techniques and handling of laboratory equipment- Data analysis- English- Teamwork- Scientific curiosity- Tolerance to work under pressure**Important Details**:**Internship Period at CEMEX**: 6 months with an option for renewal.
