including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules**Requirements**:MANDATORY EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:- Master's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Special Education, or related field with ABA specialization- Official Master's Cédula Cualificado from Mexico (REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION)- Bachelor's degree alone does NOT qualify for this positionAdditional Requirements:- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques- Certification as Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is preferred- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families- Patience, empathy, and genuine dedication to helping others achieve their goalsIMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: RECREATIONAL THERAPIST POSITIONYou will work as a RECREATIONAL THERAPIST, not as a psychologist.Working in licensed psychology would require additional U.S. certification and licensing processes.As a Recreational Therapist:- NO U.S. psychology license required- NO additional certifications needed to start- Your Mexican Master's degree in psychology/ABA provides the clinical foundation for recreational therapy work- This position allows you to use your mental health knowledge and clinical experience in a recreational therapy setting without going through lengthy U.S. licensing processesCRITICAL REQUIREMENT:
