We're Hiring: Regional Commodity Buyer – Electrical/Mechatronic
Are you an experienced purchasing professional with a passion for the automotive industry?
JoinGRAMMERand become part of ourSupply Chain Management Team , where you'll play a key role in developing sourcing strategies, driving cost savings, and building strong supplier partnerships across the Americas.What You'll DoLead annual supplier negotiations to achieve and exceed cost-saving targets.Develop and execute regional commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.Build and manage a high-performing supplier base focused on quality, cost, delivery, and innovation.Drive supplier relationship management, contract management, and sourcing activities.Analyze market trends, benchmark suppliers, and identify cost optimization opportunities.Collaborate with Engineering, Supplier Quality, and cross-functional teams to implement VA/VE initiatives and support new product launches.Manage RFQs, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs),



and purchasing activities to ensure on-time program execution.Present supplier innovations and implement commercially and technically viable solutions.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.5+ years of experience in Global Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.Automotive purchasing experience withElectrical/Mechatronic commodities.Proven success leading supplier negotiations and delivering cost savings.Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Experience with cost analysis and cost breakdowns.Advanced proficiency inExcel, Power Point, and Word.Knowledge ofProject Management ,Supplier Quality Procedures , andSAP(preferred).
