Accessibility TesterVirtualentAs an Accessibility Tester at Virtualent, you will be responsible for testing digital content against digital accessibility standards – set out by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
You will work closely with the QA Tester to ensure the quality and integrity of our internal products at Google.
Key Responsibilities:Testing digital content against WCAG standards
Utilizing browser developer tools, debug logs, and ADB commands
Understanding of W3 C standards‐compliant HTML and CSS
Testing assistive technologies using i OS & Android devices
Experience with Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools
Working with assistive technology for accessibility testing (JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over (OSX & i OS) and Android Talkback)
Familiarity with Deque tools (a Xe, Assure/Comply or Worldspace)
Proficiency in using Chrome Vox, Voice over, and other assistive tools
Testing Mobile apps for accessibility
Creating documents and writing good bug reports
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Java Script and i OS/Android development best practices
Advanced proficiency in English
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accessibility Tester or similar role
Understanding of WCAG standards and accessibility best practices
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and problem‐solving skills
