- Reporting to the Sr Director, Commodity Management Indirect, Indirect Procurement Manager role involves_
_Responsible for supporting indirect material sourcing and supply base management strategies and policies. Participate and provide direction in the development of preferred suppliers working closely with regional and global leadership._
What a typical day looks like
- _ Work closely with regional and integral leadership to develop strategies that will drive synergy savings._
- _ Implement and communicate strategic and preferred commodity plans designed to meet site performance goals._
- _ Meet or exceed published cost reduction goals with agreed-to time frames, establish long-term relationships that benefit Flex worldwide._
- _ Monitor current market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply-demand challenges._
- _ Work with site purchasing managers to develop the scope of work for services to optimize project costs by implementing approved quotation process._
- _ Provide guidance,



direction and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult and complex estimating and/or procurement assignments._
- _ Work closely with regional leadership and with site NPP and MRO teams to develop strategies that will drive synergies savings across the sites._
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- _ BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience_
- _ Fluent English level_
- _ Assess and approve suppliers_
- _ Build strategic relationship with stakeholders_
- _ Devise ways and means to maximize commodity buying efficiency_
- _ Collaborate with commodities team to ensure deadlines are met._
- _ Develop and manage pricing strategies._
- _ Encourage team spirit and discuss performance periodically._
- _ Manage commodity negotiations._
- _ Collaborate with suppliers on improving quality._
- _ Inculcate extensive knowledge on commodities._
- _ Develop and maintain business communication with suppliers_
- _ Manage a team for commodity sourcing_
- _ Evaluate market conditions_
