Work closely with manufacturing, shipping/receiving. andproject management to avoid production impacts. PerformMRP analysis to identify shortages on a weekly basis,using SAP tools. Negotiate with suppliers to ensureuninterrupted supply of materials. Understand and followup on supplier shipping schedules to avoid shortages,premium freight or overstock. Proactively report materialshortage/availability issues and escalate potential linedisruptions through MSM process. Ensure optimal levels ofinventory for assigned materials. Track, report to supplierand/or escalate overshipments. Follow up on E&O; andblocked items disposition for assigned materials. Provideprotect times required to Traffic Department to ensureuninterrupted supply of materials. Monitor SAP booking ofmaterials and ensure that receiving issues due toprocurement problems are solved (PO problem). Reportto Supplier Development area if a supplier is no compliantwith Continental packing specifications. Initiate NCC casefor any supplier related issue impacting PF,linedonw/overtime, scrap, etc. Ensure the informationrequired for a successful recovery of a NCC is provided.Attend and resolve AP Issues related to assignedmaterials.
