**JOB SUMMARY**:
This position is responsible for the planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling all activities and functions relating to ordering, receiving, storing and delivering raw materials to the product lines. This position is also responsible for the planning, directing, coordinating, and controlling all activities and functions relating to the receiving, storing and shipping of finished goods.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:_- Other duties may be assigned:_
- Staff, develop, and evaluate all subordinates work performances.
- Plan, organize, direct, and control all activities of ordering, receiving, storing and delivering raw material to the product lines.
- Plan, organize, direct, and control all activities of receiving, storing and shipping finished goods.
- Ensure all required documentation is maintained per government regulations for import / export.
- Analyze, determine root cause and implement effective countermeasures for all stock shortages.
- Plan, report and monitor inventory levels to support current and planned production levels.
- Direct and monitor safety activities relating to preventing employee injuries.
- Report and monitor all PC&L; cost associated to the PC&L; budgets.
- Plan, create specifications, and submit Capital Funding Requests (CFR) for material handling equipment and material storage equipment.
- Plan, organize, and control all activities of the receiving, storing, and material handling of new raw material and control all activities of the inventory associated with product phase out.
**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Business Management.
- Seven to ten years’ experience in Material, Supply Chain or Production Management.
- Experienced in International Supply Chain Management (import and export functions)
- Experienced in receiving, shipping and warehouse functions
- Knowledge of computer based MRP or ERP programs, Windows, MS Office programs, and Lotus Notes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with other departments, employees, and outside vendors and carriers.
- Proven project management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Kanban, pull, lean manufacturing and CI principles.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Effective time management, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Proven cross-functional team leader/member
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment, with mínimal supervision.
