**Your Role**:
- Develop and improve the product collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, operations and quality.
- Possess sufficient CAD skills to open, manipulate, assemble, and make minor modifications to 3D component models.
- Design of injection molded, rubber, sheet metal, with a general knowledge of the manufacturing process for each.
- Work with suppliers, purchasing, SQE, ME, VE, plant mfg., plant quality to resolve issues.
**Your Background**:
- **Bachelors Degree in Mechanic, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or experience in the industrial design field.**:
- +3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- 2D and 3D CAD proficiency with NX or Solidworks or equivalent.
- **90% English (written and verbal).**:
- Knowledge in product design & validation methods.
- Problem solving skills, print interpretation, GD&T;, and stack up studies.
- **Familiar with component manufacturing processes and quality (plastic molding, stampings, machining, deep drawing, etc.)**:
- Ability to work independently and motivate others
- **Ability to lead projects, directing the activity of multiple support organizations and assure timely completion of deliverables.**:
- Problem solving certification or training.
