We are looking for the someone capable to develop, implement, and monitor environmental, health and safety programs within our site as appropriate. Currently living in Tijuana area and with at least 2 years working such as EHS Ing. or supervisor. Main responsibilities include recognize, identifies, evaluate and controls chemical and physical hazards in the workplace; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, trains employees on hazardous waste recognition and handling, job hazard identification and minimization, and PPE use. Training, education, hazard assessments, implementation of work practice & engineering improvements. -Responsible for developing and implementing the company’s environmental, industrial, health and safety programs, strategy, and action plans. -Develop plan based on exposure, frequency, severity and historical data. -This includes assessing exposures, analyzing trends and data, facilitating overall and team safety goal development. -Responsible for establishing program and individual accountability measurements. -Ensure that the associates have the proper training as required by law as well as education on safe work practices. -Responsible for coordinating environmental report completion with outside counsel (air water, hazardous waste, etc) -Conduct audit & inspections to ensure safety practices and procedures are being adhered to as they relate to associate actions, machinery and equipment and building and grounds and to recommended corrective actions where deficiencies are found. -Assume leadership of investigation and analysis of cause and effect of accidents, injuries, illness, property damage and near misses,



communicating findings to management and associates as appropriate to ensure preventative measures are taken. -Remain abreast of federal state and local law dealing with Occupational Safety and Health to determine compliance need and act as liaison for company with state, local an federal regulatory agencies. -Analyze incidents and prepare monthly reports.
Experiência y requisitos
Must have the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of employment verbally and in writing. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health legal compliance (OSHA, EPA, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, STPS) among other, experience in manufacturing will be highly appreciate it.
