**Job Description Summary**:
**Role Summary/Purpose**
The FP&A; Operations Analyst will be an integral part of the GE Onshore HQ FP&A; team, reporting to the Senior Onshore Wind FP&A; Operations Manager. Responsible for monitoring and driving cost-out actions within GE Onshore Wind, partnering with all P&Ls; and functional leaders. Independent in problem solving and decision making. You will engage on and provide deep data analysis, data organization & streamlining, GL connections to the ledger into accurate forecast & pacing models.
**Essential Responsibilities**
- Own analytics around key cost lines and drive thorough understanding of important drivers: develop a thorough cost understanding
- Support cost transformation/reduction initiatives
- Develop in-depth knowledge of SG&A; and Fixed costs. Use prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy. Analyze the performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cost control as well as corrective action plans as needed
- Support the business cycle
- 3 year plan, budget,
forecasts and actuals for Income Statement, with main focus on Structural costs.
- Focus on execution of P&L; activities. Support pacing, closing, and ledger reporting of financials on a monthly basis.
- Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems, build and improve finance processes and control development. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Bachelors in business, finance or applicable field with at least 3 years of experience in Finance.
- Excel expert.
