We’re looking for a **Lead** **Azure Data Engineer **for a specialist supply chain, data and software engineering solutions company with over 380 employees, development centers in the USA and India within 3 years of starting operations.
**Requirements**:
- Experience as a Lead Data Engineer
- 5+ years of Hands-on experience with data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- 5+ years of experience in SQL database and TSQL
- 3+ years of experience using Python and PySpark
- 3+ years of experience on ETL frameworks - Informatica or SSIS
- Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SSIS, SAS, etc.)
- Experience dealing with structured & unstructured data
- Strong command of English and good communication skills
**Nice to have**:
- EDW experience - Azure Databricks, RedShift, Azure Synapse, etc.
- Professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst




**Responsibilities**:
- Lead a team of data engineers
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Work with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and other IT teams to understand the business needs and their requirements.
- Responsible for ETL development, data analysis, technical design, and testing.
- Able to shift between priorities as needed throughout the workday.
