**Title: Tableau Developer**

**Contract Role**
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with business users to understand their data analysis requirements and translate them into Tableau visualizations and dashboards.
- Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards in Tableau.
- Create and maintain data connections, data sources, and data models within Tableau.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Tableau using SQL queries, data blending, or other methods.
- Perform data cleansing, aggregation, and calculations to ensure data accuracy and reliability in Tableau.
- Optimize Tableau performance by analyzing data queries, recommending data source improvements, and implementing performance tuning techniques.
- Collaborate with database administrators, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and availability for Tableau.
- Stay up to date with the latest Tableau features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and provide support to end users for Tableau usage, report interpretation, and self-service analytics.




- Continuously monitor and evaluate Tableau dashboards and reports to identify areas for improvement and make necessary enhancements.
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in Tableau software, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau.
- Solid understanding of SQL and data manipulation techniques for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database systems.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business users, data analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with other data visualization tools or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling is advantageous
