**Your Job**
As Controls Engineer you will be responsible to design, develop and implement control systems through PLC/HMI, Robots, servomotors and Vision systems programming for full automated machines to support manufacturing processes' improvements according to the business requirements and regulations.
**Our Team**
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including test engineers suppliers, technicians, and professionals from various disciplines, to ensure successful operation and excellence in our optic fiber solutions.
**What You Will Do**
- You will ensure that the automated machines and/or control devices meet the productivity indicators.
- You will diagnose and troubleshoot failures in automated machines by analyzing PLC/HMI, Robots and Vision systems' programs or routines.
- Collaborate with the design and operations teams to ensure that process requirements are met in both current and enhanced designs.
- Develop of controls' standards and specifications by feeding back lessons-learned and gaps from each project to ensure that future projects will run smoother.
- Troubleshoot any controls related downtime events on the production lines as a priority.
- Design analysis and troubleshooting, performance and manufacturing of both low and high volume and high-mix electronic and electromechanical full
- automated machines.
- Setup from scratch or modify current industrial networks for the integration of automation equipment and/or control devices.
- Ensure proper implementation of and modifications to (ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant) control reliable safety systems for safeguarding robots, gantries, conveyors,



and other high-volume manufacturing equipment.
- Provide training to Production and Maintenance teams about the proper use of the automated equipment.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Experience with design, programming and troubleshooting of automated machines.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Ladder Programming, HMI programming, servomotors programming, flow diagram as a tool for program design, Cognex or Keyence vision systems.
- Working knowledge in PLC/HMI and control/automation devices' selection, installation, configuration, programming and maintenance.
- Working knowledge in sensors, transducers, pneumatics, mechanical equipment maintenance and wireless networks.
- English communication skills.
