Overview:
The position is a key member of Herbalife's supply chain planning team and will be responsible for the Deployment Strategy in the Region/Market, focusing on pushing inventory through the supply chain to help meet demand.
The position must work closely with the Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, Sales, and Marketing areas to understand sales behaviors.
It must also have a strong relationship with Local Distribution and Transportation to ensure product supply to the retail/access points.
It must also ensure the correct supply in the distribution network, maintain property inventory levels according to the country's supply strategy, avoid stockouts at the spokes, and avoid the cost of redistribution.
This position will work with and coordinate with all the Warehouses and Transportation in the region to ensure a constant flow of supply to the 3PL and partners.
In addition, this person will be considered the project lead in implementing all the Strategies related to Distribution Requirements Planning and all the systems related to the position.
Job Qualifications:
**Skills**:
- Excellent analytical, problem solving/decision making skills; ability to make timely, effective, fact based decisions. Includes a strong working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and scheduling software.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft office suite software (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, MS project, etc.).




- Knowledge of supplier and component qualification processes.
- Knowledge of supplier performance management practices, including supplier scorecards and performance metrics.
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform and produce results in multifunctional teams in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down, and across organizational lines
- Knowledge of Planning, Purchasing, Transportation in a manufacturing based environment
- Must possess good mathematical skills and meticulous with details
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and lead various high-level projects
- Advanced English
**Experience**:
- 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing based environment in Planning, Purchasing, Logistics or Transportation
- Experience working with suppliers and coordinating production availability
- MRP/ERP experience (Oracle/SAP or like systems)
**Education**:
- BS/BA in business or technical field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or an MS/MBA in related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Oracle ERP/MRP or similar ERP system
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree Required in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Economics
- Inventory Control experience
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification or classes
