**Microsoft Technical Consultant**
**Remote in Mexico - Full-Time with Inviso**
**The Team**
Inviso supports Microsoft in providing a range of Assessment services and is expanding our support of Assessments focused on Cloud Migration, Copilot Adoption and Security in Microsoft’s SMB customer segment. This program provides data-driven reports to help customers gain a thorough understanding of their current IT estate and to inform their cloud migration strategy, extending their capabilities and empowering their organizations. The SMB Assessment Desk receives nominations from multiple channels within Microsoft, engaging with customers for pre-deployment technical check calls, deployment support, and report delivery to customer and partner to enable rapid migration. The Desk will leverage Microsoft’s first-party technology Azure Migrate, as well as the third-party Assessment tools Block 64 and QS Solutions’ CSAT. The success of the SMB Assessment Desk is defined by enabling customers **to successfully migrate and modernize their infrastructure with Microsoft Cloud services**, including Azure and Microsoft 365.
**The Role**
Our Technical Consultants are the front line, supporting customers in their deployment of relevant Assessment tools, and supporting them in defining a roadmap to achieve their strategic goals through the adoption of Microsoft Cloud technologies. Therefore, applicants’ communication skills and attention to detail are key. Successful applicants will demonstrate strong technical acumen, project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of a customer organization (from IT staff to project managers to business decision makers) as well as Microsoft’s internal teams.



**Successful applicants will demonstrate a diversity of IT systems and administration knowledge enabling them to guide customers in the implementation and use of solutions such as Azure Migrate, Block64, and CSAT.**
**This role is focused on the United States English language customer engagement, so applicants should have native or full professional fluency in English (written and verbal).**
- **Engagement with Microsoft Stakeholders and Field Sellers**:
- **Requirements Communication and Kickoff**: Understanding and clearly communicating the technical requirements of the Scale Assessment process, as well as the relevant benefits and outcomes to be expected upon delivery.
- **Discovery**: Determining the optimal discovery platform to achieve the stated objectives, supporting deployment through complete discovery.
- **Analysis**: Reviewing and finalizing an Assessment Report (specific to the tool used for Assessment delivery), identifying and highlighting key insights.
- **Presentation**: Presenting key insights and actionable recommendations to relevant customer, partner, and Microsoft contacts
- **Cross-team Coordination**:Supporting a seamless customer transition into post-Assessment actions with relevant Microsoft, Partner, or other point(s) of contact
- **Tracking**:Log activities and updates in appropriate systems (e.g., internal CRM systems) for accurate tracking and reporting
**Required experience**:
- Experience within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- English language fluency.




- 1-2 years’ experience in IT service/support, seeking to leverage those skills in an analytic role.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and present data.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a queue of projects concurrently with little supervision - project & time management, coordination, status updates, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
**Additional desirable experience**:
- Experience with discovery and assessment platforms such as Azure Migrate, Block64, CSAT, etc.
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft 365 products and services.
- Any area(s) of IT, Systems Administration, Windows or Linux OS, Networking
- Relevant Skills: Networking and Administration for Windows / Windows Server OS and Linux; PowerShell; Active Directory, DNS, DHCP; Virtualization Technologies (ex., VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V)
